One interesting thing about WordPress

Without being too much of a critic, I must say that there is one default function that I don’t really like about WordPress Blogs. You see, when ever you mouse over an image, it displays this wierd box with all sorts of related links.

EDIT. Actually, as Doug (see comment) graciously pointed out, you can disable this function called Snap in the Design Extras settings.

For the most part, I have been very impressed with how the “look and feel” of wordpress. For example, WordPress has the really usique full-screen mode that gives you just the options you want, and let’s you focus on your writing. Now that’s cool.

Here is what those bizarre “pop boxes” looked like.

Anyway, I still getting the hang of things with WordPress, and I think I’ll detail a few posts on how some of it works in future posts.

In High Gear……

    Hi there,

That is called Snap and you can disable it, actually. 🙂 Simply go to Design > Extras and uncheck the box. It takes about two seconds and then it’ll be gone forever!

Thanks so much, Doug. Your WordPress support is really fast! Especially considering I didn’t even ask for help!
