So there I was, sitting at the table after dinner finishing off a bowl of rice pudding, and I was watching my sister draw a portrait of my younger sister Emily. And I said to myself, “What a wonderful daaaaaaayyyyyyy” “That looks fun, I used to draw.” So I decided to give it a shot.
So I got out a sheet of printer paper, and cohearsed one of my brothers, Hud-Bud (as he is known on the blogosphere), to sit still. After a couple minutes, I had something good, but it was starting to look a little too round – Sort of like those kids in the movie “Hoodwinked” that follow the Schnitzel truck everywhere. My sister, who had just finished her portrait of Emily, was gracious enough to come over and help me tweak it to make it look more proportional.
After a few more minutes, I completed the drawing, and everyone else seemed to think it was pretty good. To be sure, it’s not a masterpiece, but it was an enjoyable part of my evening, so I’ve included it below with a photo to compare it against.
